Conceptually, what is the best way to have an AR with a welcome "page" which has 3 buttons (and commentary) on it a, each of which leads to topics A, B and C on separate "pages" i.e the welcome page disappears. When you go to any one of these topics you have the topic chosen on display and (say) 4 tabs at the top which allow you to toggle between A, B or C, or go back to the welcome page. I've seen examples of this in the Cognos ipad app samples but can't vizualize how to create the behaviour.

Hi,

Create a default query with one data item then drag in list. Then drag in a deck with 4 values overview,a,b,and c. darg you list in the overview data card. Then set the connection between the list and deck call it card view. Then you will have you behaviour. Similarly make list 2,3 and set the variables of the list to control the deck.

Thanks,
RK

Thanks. I'll give it a go.

RK,

It worked a treat. I was able to do it just using the static deck and button bars, as I wanted it to be driven by my input (labels or values) not data. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

That's Great! Yes, I would think there would be multiple ways to do it. Have a nice day! ;D

Thanks,
RK

Deck with 3 cards (A, B, C) and a default card which is your 'home' page. Default card is displayed when the connection has no value, ie when whatever control variable you are driving the deck from is not set.
