Hi, i am a newbie following this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIbLRAOoHjo&list=UUp_AbQTD29R5KgMzK32wNkA&index=1&feature=plcp learning to install and configure cognos 10.1.1. I would like to ask, what steps should i include for me to be able to access cognos from another computer B(no cognos are installed) just by entering the ip address of the computer A(where cognos are installed)

Pros please help me

Thanks,

You can use the Windows Remote Desktop Connection from your PC to connect to a server that has Cognos installed on it.

Thanks for the reply, i have found the solutions and it is working now. Btw do anyone know of any good step by step guide to create a single sign-on for cognos using active directory?

Check the IBM website, they have documents for pretty much everything "Developer Works", must say they are not the best at documenting and provide a step by step guide.

It can be set at the Cognos Configuration.
