Hey everyone

I've got a wierd error message in transformer.

I'm trying to generate categories on a cube which has been working fine for months.  I had an error message saying Fatal Error application needs to close.  The app closed, when I opened it again the date dimension (generated using the date wizard) now has nothing in it, not even in the dimension map.

I can't generate categories, if I check the model everything is OK.

Anyone got any idea what's going on and what I need to do to fix it?

Thanks for your help

How is your model stored - as a binary pyj? I'd try saving as an mdl file and saving a new pyj - it sounds like your model may have become corrupt. Take a copy of the original pyj (plus qyj if it exists) just in case you need to go back to it for any reason.

Good luck!!

MF.

MFGF thanks for the reply.  The model was just saved as .pyj.  I couldn't even save it as a .mdl becuase I got the fatale error message again :-(

I managed to find a previous version of the model that seems to work OK.  Hopefully it shouldn't take too much effort to bring it up to date.

Thanks for your help
