Cognos Mobile and iOS 6

Hi all,

Be aware that currently (early October 2012), IBM is not supporting iOS 6 as a platform for mobile. In iOS 6, Apple have made some changes to Safari in the way it handles events such as buttons and swipe controls. The iPad native App is a hybrid application which uses both iOS and the Safari browser, so both the App and the web mobile client are affected. Apple have also changed the way some images are scaled in iOS 6, plus they have changed their web caching approach in Safari. The net result is that the IBM Cognos mobile platform is not yet supported on iOS 6, so if you need Mobile, stay on iOS 5 for now.
