What is the difference between Slicer and Context filter. What are there uses.

Well, by and large, a slicer will filter your data by a set of several members from the same hierarchy. A context filter is a simple filter that will only filter your data based on one member from the same hierarchy.
So, if you're displaying sales by region and year, but you only want to display data for a specific product, you can use a context filter with the member representing that product. If you would want to see the data for more than one product, you'd ue a slicer that returns the result of set(prod1,prod2,prod3) and so on.
It of course gets more complicated, but that's the basics - whenever you require more than one member in your filter, or a more complex calculation (e.g. show data for all products besides a selected product) you'll want to use a slicer.
