Hi,

I have one report and they would want the access to that report only to three users. The report should not be accessed by others. I am new to cognos adminstration. So should i provide the access to those users in Access Manager?

Please help me with the steps.

Thanks,

MFGF

You will need to define the relevant security permissions in the Cognos Connection portal. Go into the properties of the report, navigate to the Permissions tab, and check the box to override the permissions inherited from the parent entry. Remove all the existing groups and roles from the list, then add in just the three relevant users (from your security namespace). Grant these users read, execute and traverse privileges.
