Framework Manager Publish Package and Data Source Test Issue

We have just installed Cognos 10 (UNIX on Oracle) and I have installed the client on my laptop and configured the gateway and dispatcher.

Upon entering Framework Manager (FM), after selecting to open an existing package or create a new package,  I am prompted with the login screen.  Upon validation, Cognos Connection opens and I need to click the red X in order to enter FM to do any development.

If I attempt to "Test" a data source, or any of the existing tables in the model, Cognos Connection pops up.  When I close using the red x, nothing else happens.

If I attempt to publish package, the Select Location Type window pops up.  However, when I click next Cognos Connection pops up.  There is no option to select other than clicking the red x.

Is this a service not running (All services appear to be started)?  Is this an authentication issue  ( I have granted myself System Adminstrator, Report Adminstrator, and Directory Administrator roles)?

Any ideas?

Thank you.

For a solution, please see this link to IBM Cognos Technical Documentation:

Did this resolve the issue?

Hello crobrien,

The gateway URI and Dispatcher URI for external applications have the correct URLs and they function to open Cognos Connection when entered into a browser address.  FM will open the correct region of Cognos Connection when attempting to perform any functionality.  It simply does not offer the "NEXT" button, or option to allow the process to continue.

Hello All,

The issue was the gateway URI was missing a subdirectory and this allowed Cognos to resolve to open Cognos Connection.

This issue is resolved for myself.

Thank you,
