Framework Manager Licensing for Cognos 10

Hi ,

I am new to this Forum and new to Congos. I have two questions regarding Framework manager licensing and its usage.

1) We have purchased 2 named user admin licenses which includes 2 FM license copies. We have a team of about 4-5 people who will be accessing the FM software to create and modify models/packages and publish too. In such case could FM be installed on the individual desktops of these designers and also for the developers who can open the FM packages to test the data etc.

2) In business object there is an option of locking a universe file by a designer who is currently doing the modifications. IS there any similar kind of thing that exists for Cognos FM manager. Also if the users have installed FM on their desktop will they be able to open the server copy of the FM model, make and save changes and able to publish it to the server?

2) Not that I know of - 8.4 used to integrate with VSS but that got integration was dropped in 10
