Hi all,

today i'm in need to do such a thing:

Depending on the ReportLanguage (let's say we use "ReportLocale()" for this) i want to build a dynamic filter in a query. The filter criteria should be built from a string, depending on the reports language.

Is this possible? Any use of something like "ReportLocale()" quits with a sql error...

So in queries or filters these stuff made for layout calculations is not really usable.

Any hints about that topic? ;o

Have you tried this within a macro (ie have you included the macro hash symbols (#) around the relevant part of the expression?)

Regards,

MF.
