Hello

(cognos 8.4)

where can i see some examples of project viewer (.cpf) ?

hierarchical structures with  folders,query subjects ,query defs,query items..

Hi gg2vig,

did you mean cognos samples?if yes you can find cognos samples in


drive(default:C)/program files/cognos/c8/web content/samples/in sub folders

there you will find cognos samples this is physical path for cognos samples

if your searching for Framework manager .cpf files  ..as far as i know cognos dint have any default  .cpf files for Framework manger.you have to create a model and packages manually.for that you can use sample databases (gosales,gosalesdw)

Namespace is  better under the datamodel name.

This is the frame work manager project exact structure

projectname>modelaname>namespaces>quersubjects>queritems

and you can also see Datasource name,Parmeter maps,Packages
