Urgent Help (Malaysia Map into report studio generate the chart)

How I can add the Malaysia MAP to the report studio?Where i can get the Malaysia Map?
After that when I click the Malaysia state, how the state values will pass to the report (such as chart) and generate the result?
I want step by step information to guide me as well. Thanks.

Hi,

The Cognos maps that ship with the product are in fact MapInfo maps.  As you will have noticed, the default set of maps is very limited - simply because IBM have to pay royalties for each map included with the product.

You can visit the Mapinfo website and purchase additional maps, then open these in the Map Manager application within Cognos 10 and save them as Cognos maps (cmf filetype) into the cognos maps folder.  Once you have done this the maps should be available for use within Report Studio.
