how to define advanced drill behaviour

Ex:i have a dimention which has 3 levels .
Year-quarter-month

Can I drill down from Year to month directly,not level by level

Just create an alternate Hierarchy.

One Hierarchy will go from Year --> Quarter --> Month and the alternative path will go from Year --> Month

If the cognos version is 8.3 and 8.4 we can do this one. Using the drill behaviour we can do. Steps :
Take year,quater,month and other measures which are required for your report. drag year and remaining items which are required for your report. go to data menu click on drill behaviour advanced property and select year and in drop down of drill behaviour select change expression and take month values. when you drill down from year than you can see the month information. Just it is nothing but skipping of level.
