Automating the optimization task

We recently implemented Controller and currently have to manually run the optimization task twice per monthly cycle. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to run the optimization task via script or a command line batch job.  Or is it something that the Oracle DBA's could do outside of the application?

Thanks in advance,

Chad

Yes, as described in page 102 of the Controller install guide (on the server).

Thanks, mine wasn't on 102, but I did find it in the document.

Thanks for your help.

I realise that this topic is old, but hopefully the information below is useful to someone!  :)

Database server best practices are in my Technotes here:However, I suspect that you are interested in scheduling/automating an 'internal' (application) database optimise. This is not possible.
