exporting portal reports to excel,pdf other usable formats in 8.3

Just wondering if there is a process of exporting reports in a  portal to a useable format such as excel,pdf etc. Consumers can come in and view the report but may want to extract the information to pdf or excel. How do they do this in version 8.3. In 841 when you maximize the cognos viewer screen you get a tool bar which shows keep this version,output formats add report formats. is this something new in 841?

Run them in pdf or excel instead of html...Is that what you are looking for?
