Cognos Administration Training Tools

I'm still fairly new and trying to figure everything out.  I was wondering what everyone else used to get up to speed.

So far I've taken a report writing class and a 'Framework Manager' class.  However, the FM class didn't really help me...at all.  It was from a 3rd party and not IBM.  I've purchased the "IBM Cognos 8: Business Intelligence Offical Guide" but still find myself a little lost in the data modeling aspect of framework manager. 

Any tips or links to available resources would be greatly appreciated.  I feel like I've been researching forever and I'm just not 'getting it'. :-[
