Sorting Data

Hi all,

How we can do primary,secondary sorting in a list. eg: i want date to be sorty be descending first, then by name in asc. how can we achieve in a list object.?

The sort hierarchy of the columns is determined by the order that the columns are placed in the tabular model.
In the tabular model, place the date field first and then the name. apply ur sorting and check it out..

thanks, but if i change it in the tabular model-query-facts only it is working. if i change the order in tabular it is not working.

Go to your query and drag your Name under your data dimension and under your date field. Then set the sort order for both?
