[Solved] Reportnet- Dash Board Reports

 Iam working as a Reportnet developer,I have been asked to Develop Reportnet Dash Board Reports and i have no clue what is it.
Is it a another application/ Soft ware ?.
Pls help me and send some valuable information / links which can help me with the Project.

Simam,
  Dashboards are only what you make of them. They can be charts, gauges, text or other indicators.. They can be simple HTML or complex BI queries.

  If someone simply asked you to "make a dashboard' you should get clarification from them... Find out what data they want to display, how they want to display it, who needs to see it, etc....
  Then, you need to find out what you can do.  I would recommend playing with ReportNet (or other tools available to you), going thru the tutorials, and/or going to a CRN training course.  There is no "cookbook" for making dashboards in general, as there can be so many differences.

for example i have some reports, so how can i make that reportnet reports to dash board.
do u mean  i save that reports in HTML format and publish on portal?
pls  give a detail information as iam totally new to reportnet.

A "dashboard" report has nothing to do with the way you publish in reportnet. I would go to google and do some research on dashboards and what they can be. Mike nailed it when he said "Dashboards are only what you make them ...you should get clarification for them"

There is a difference between being new to reportnet and not knowing what the industry considers a "dashboard"

  If you have existing ReportNet reports, you can simply tell the user to go run them thru CRN's Cognos Connection portal.  Some might consider that a dashboard.
  If you have other types of reports (Crystal Reports, Access, Excel, etc), you will first need to source the data and design them in CRN.  Creating framework, metadata, reports, etc is a whole huge process that is separate from "dashboard" capability.
  First define some requirements - having someone just ask for a "dashboard" because they read they were cool in FastCompany or Forbes is quite silly.
