Hey all!
I have run into my second hard issue of the week. I am working on a GL report. When pulling GL Details, Cognos seems to be ignoring what it thinks is duplicate data. I have a person who is having a check corrected and has -40 @ $62 and + 40 @ $65 on there twice since he needed two weeks corrected. Cognos is only pulling one set of the corrections, I have the Auto Group & Summarize turned off on the queries. Both the debit and credit column Summary and Detail Aggregate is none. What am I missing!? I have tried changing the debits and credits to total, summarize, default...etc...
I could really use minds smarter then mine right about now!!
Thank you all!

Not quite sure what that means.   I'm guessing that you have 4 entries to correct stuff.  There are two entries which should total -$2480 each and two which should total $2600 each for a net of $240.

Is this a relational FM package?  DMR? TM1?

When you say 'queries' I assume that you have a bunch of queries in your report.  What are the queries doing?  Why are you doing them?  Why can that be done in your model?

What is the structure of the source model (or TM1 cube)? How is the data captured?  Is there a record for each correction?  Is this a master/detail table situation?

Properly modeled you should not need to adjust any property and you should be able to treat the objects in the model (or cube) as like bricks.

You were correct in that it was only pulling two entries and it should have been 4.
I had one query pulling from a GL Data Package and another Query pulling from a system configured field package to add in a non-standard field for contract ID's. It was joined by employee ID and for that contract ID field apparently I had to have a maximum() added to the expression and then I did an outer join of zero or one contract ID for one or more GL Data items.

My guess would be my zero or one was the true issue....
Always the small things

Thank you!!
