Heat map color scale

Hi all,

I'm building a dashboard with Cognos Analytics and I have an issue with color scales. I attached a screenshot.

What I want to achieve:
1. Custom boundaries for the color buckets. This is evident for the table, but not for the map.
2. Fixed boundaries for the color buckets. I ticked 'maintain axis scale', but the boundaries still change when I filter the tab or use the data player.
3. Consistent colors and boundaries between the table and map.

Ideas so far:
- Creating a custom color palette for the map.
- Introducing a category variable. This could help a bit, but the issue would still persist if one or more categories are not present after filtering.

I hope you have some more ideas or could help me out!
