How to filter data from chart to crosstab in active report.

Hi,
The chart is displaying year,week and Revenue whereas the crosstab is displaying Region,year as row and columns and revenue and profit as columnwise measure.
Now the requirement is depending upon the dimensions selected in chart (i.e. year or week)the corresponding filtering should be done in crosstab.
In crosstab we are not displaying week.
So can you please suggest how we can achieve this scenario.
