Global filters in Workspace for multiple packages/reports ?

Hi All,
I have 2 reports built using 2 different cube packages. Both of them have time dimension and similar structure for time dimension. I have dragged both of reports in Cognos Workspace to display as Dashboard. Now users wants a Date prompt, using which both reports should filter the data in Workspace.
Is it possible? As both of these reports use different packages and MUN required to pass in both reports will be different. Please suggest.
