I need to add a search option on a Tree prompt in Cognos analytics

I have a very large tree prompt (500 members in the tree) and its possible to select from different levels – and only one option 
Most users find it very useful as they now the structure
However new users struggle, and requested to have a search option
In the past I used Java Script to solve this issue, however in Cognos analytics I need to turn off the interactive option, and that is not acceptable by the users.
So how can I add a sech option to a tree prompt in Cognos Analytics (Version  11.0.9)
