Drill through with unused parameter

I'm trying to drill through from my source to target by passing several parameters.  The problem is that some of the parameters are coming from optional prompts.  If any prompts are not used on the source, then no parameter is passed and the target report results in no data.

Any ideas? Parameters on the target are set to optional, but it doesn't seem to matter. It seems that the source report is still "pushing" a parameter that doesn't exist.

Are you using OLAP or relational data source ?

Can you try to set a default selection on the prompt to see if the target report picks that up ?

Thanks for the reply oscarca.  It is a relational data source.  I am able to add a default selection as you suggested. The issue with that was the prompt is a multi-select. And any time I would write a filter expression to use that default selection as "all", it would change the prompt to single select. This was regardless of using "in" or "=".

As it turns out, this is a known defect in 11.0.10, and is fixed in 11.0.11 or higher versions.  I was still able to get this to work by turning "Run with full interactivity"  to "No", and changing the report style to "10.x styles".  This will work for the time being, until my company upgrades. But it was quite frustrating!
