PDF Printing Issue

Good Afternoon
I wonder if someone can help me with an issue I have encountered on a report I have authored on Report Studio 10.1.1

The report is a multi-page report combining pie charts, graphs, text, tables etc. On all pages all the text items are set to 12pt. When I run the report in PDF on 3 of the 10 report pages, the text size changes automatically. There is still room left on the page so it isn't resizing to fit the content to the page. The other thing that confuses me is that if I run it in HTML it runs correctly with all items the correct size. In a bid to resolve I have ensured all the text items and the tables / blocks in which they sit are all set to 12pt, and have even tried adjust the print options when the report has run and have also tried all the tricks I have used previously but to no avail.

Because of this I am assuming it's a PDF option issue rather than an issue with the report itself. Does anyone have any experience of this kind of issue?

Many thanks in advance for any help provide
Richard

Do you have the size and overflow property set anywhere? In general it seems to honor a format when it is able to but if it is constrained by a container size it will do what it must regardless of what you tell it.

It is hard to know without seeing everything that is going on. The page structure view is a good way to troubleshoot this type of issue because you can look at the entire ancestry and see the properties at each level that might be a factor.

Hi Lynn
Yes I do have 1 (1 row, 1 column) table container (needs to be a rather than a block so I  can adjust the paginatiuon options) set with a size and overflow but that is 100% width with no set height, and this is the main container my blocks that have no sizing limits set are sat within, should I be removing this?

Many thanks

I think PDF does not recognize your font size from RS, the tendency is to set it to default.
You can try, instead of using "pt" for texts, try something else like cm.
Or adjust the font size into something recognizable by pdf. (trial and error).

Thank you to both Lynn and SDF for the replies

I will try changing the text font to another scale instead of pct, and advise back of progress

Many thanks
