dropdown multifilter

In cognos 11.0.6, is it possible to have dropdown multi select filter?

​The multiselect filters that are available are really huge to be used in a report. It will be perfect if the user can see the values only after clicking on the dropdown.

Hi,
No built in capability is there in cognos to do what you are trying to do, except for sizing and then the user has to scroll through the list to select the values. Another option is to use another prompt to show or hide the prompt using a render variable.
