Excel file as an Input to Prompt

Hello All,

I have a requirement where in we need to pass an excel file containing Account_numbers captured by a set of users. These Account_numbers are present in the database as well.But different users across different regions  want to pass these item codes from the excel sheet to a value prompt in the report studio.Can this be done using Javascript ?? If so please help me with the script and how to acheive this..

Also, help me understand the limitations around this.

If these are going to be constant for each group over time, I would advise creating filters for each set in your model. Then they can just drag/drop in Cognos, no Excel or javascript needed.
