Master page for all reports

Hi,

Is it possible to create a template page with all standard setting and import that page in any new report so that we don't have to apply all formatting, headers, footers on all pages of all reports?
Like we create master slide in MS powerpoint.

Yep, create a report and save it as a template. You might also want to look at creating another report with the common things that you use often. Then you can use Layout Component Reference to bring them into your report.

Thanks Chris for the pointer. I have tried the layout component reference for header and footer and its working fine except a case.

I have a singleton object in header where I put the prompt value like customer name, so the header syntax is: <customer_Name> : <Report Name>

I pull the singleton data from query within report and drop on singleton. But after using header of layout component reference, I can't drag that customer name into that header. It looks like that the entire header is locked

It probably will be - but you can create multiple headers in the library report and just pull in the one that you want into target report. So you could have versions with the customer name or without etc.
