link from detail report to summary (main) report

situation :
1) User click on main report(having one list chart and drill through to detail report). Select from prompts (no main page) ,report change accordingly to prompts.
     Example : I select one prompt with values as  a,b,c. Earlier a is prompt i have set as default when report runs.
2) report change with prompt values . then i click on drill through on list chart. Report takes me to detail report.
3) in detail report i have added one drill through text . On clicking that drill through link, it will run the main report.
Issue :
main report is showing with default prompt(i.e with value a ). But i want it should exactly take me back to main report from where i left(i.e values a,b,c )

Any suggestion i can try. Thanks!

In the drill-through definition properties, you have the option to set the value to data item, parameter, etc.

On this text that you're setting a drill-through link on, you have to set the option to send the parameter value instead of the data item value. This will use the same parameters that the user used from the source report, taking you back to where you left off.
