Fonts Issue with Pie Chart

Hello All,

I think I'm encountering all the bugs of Cognos on my current project, Or I can say there are still another two or three bugs and I'm expecting them in the next weeks to complete the set  8).

I've a simple pie chart, I don't know why with specific font "The font which the client is insisting to use" it cut some characters from the legend, when I change the font, it is working perfectly.

There are numerous properties available to control elements in the layout.

You didn't indicate if you are using a legacy chart or a visualization (and which one in particular) so it is hard to provide advice on properties that might help solve your problem. You will typically find legend size options as well as font sizes plus overall sizes that might resolve your issue. With legacy charts there are specific legend truncation properties that might do the trick.

I don't think I'd immediately agree that this is a bug, a term which denotes a product defect, until you've exhausted all the options available.
