Version: COGNOS BI 10.2.1
              Framework Manager 10.2.1
Installation Method: Quick Install.
COGNOS Framework Manager and COGNOS BI Are on the same machine.

While Saving the framework manager's configuration when I changed the dispatcher and Gateway URI (Same as the one in COGNOS BI) it gives the following error:

[Cryptography]
[ ERROR ] CAM-CRP-1193 An error occurred while attempting to contact the active Content Manager to update the local CA information. Check your configuration to ensure that the configured URIs are valid and that there are services running at those locations
"CAM-CRP-1176 A Certificate Authority information update request was not authorized. The client machine's CA password may not match the server's CA password."

COGNOS BI is working fine. I have tried to revert the changes and then upon changing it gave the same error.

Would changing the Dispatcher's password solve the issue ? If so what steps do I need to perform to change the Dispatcher's password.

Thanks in advance. I have attached the picture too.

Are Cognos and FM installed into the same folders? Because I have found that to cause a lot of issues and always install them in separate folders.

You didn't provide much information.

Was this a fresh install of both the server and FM?
Where are the apps installed?  I think the defaults are c:\program files\ibm\cognos\c10 for the server and c:\program files (x86)\ibm\cognos\c10 for FM.

The first place to start for cryptography errors:

On the FM machine...
Delete
<installpath>\configuration\csk
<installpath>\configuration\encryptkeypair
<installpath>\configuration\signkeypair

Open the configuration tool.
Make sure your URI settings are correct.
Save the configuration.
