Cognos Report Out disappears after an Hour

Hi,

I have created a report studio report that is being viewed on 32 inch TV. The Report refreshed after every 15 mins. But we found out that after an hour the report output gets disappeared. Can anyone tell what needs to be done so that the report should be visible atleast 16 hours.

Is it the setting required on Cognos Connection to increase the inactivity timeout session.

There is an inactivity timeout (in Cognos Configuration for content manager), but I guess more information would be required such as:

-how is the report refreshed? javascript solution? something else?

-what do you mean by the report disappears? Is there an error, does it prompt you to log in, does the report show up with no data? What happens exactly, what do you see on the screen when it stops working?

-if it is related to authentication (since you mentioned the inactivity timeout), do you use SSO (guessing not but... just generally asking for more info regarding the environment and problem).

Its a JavaScript Solution.
Report disappears means Its Prompting  for login.
No we don't have SSO.

You could but it will effect all users.

Is that what you are using? According to that, as long as you refresh more often than inactivity timeout your session should not expire.. if you are doing something else, maybe you could use that solution for the refresh part.
