Just putting this question out there - is it possible to set up multi-tenants in Cognos Admin console  (tenant IDs and User IDs) without configuring an LDAP/ authentication provider in Cognos Config? I have a table with tenant IDs and user IDs.I can use this table to define data security in Cognos FM.

IBM document mentions that you would need to map user account in your authentication provider to a tenant. In my scenario, the authentication occurs within the internal website which houses Cognos Reporting Link. So, when a user logs onto the internal website, SSO directly allows the user to access the  Cognos Reporting Link and underlying data (data security is currently handled in the database).

There is a requirement to set up multi tenancy in Cognos, and I am trying to understand how to go about it - if there is no direct authentication namespace linked in Cognos Configuration. Is this even possible?

Any insight would be helpful.

Just to add - The Cognos link is integrated such that it is embedded directly within the portal. We are using the IFrames or inline Frames technique.
