Transformer 10.2.2 does not show fields contained in folders

I have a model created in Framework Manager 10.1.1, that has ID Key fields in folders. In Transformer 10.1.1, I can successfully view and use these key fields. We recently upgraded to Cognos 10.2.2. The model was updated in Framework Manager 10.2.2. Now when trying to access the fields contained in the folder, I can see the folder in Transformer 10.2.2, but no fields are displayed. I can see the fields in the folder if I use Report Studio.

Has anyone seen this behavior? Is this a defect in Transformer 10.2.2 that folder contents can not be seen?

Was Transformer upgraded to 10.2.2 ?   I remember that Transformer was unable to see new columns when they were added to the package and for that we had to use the feature 'Modify Columns' and then add those columns but you said that you were able to see the fields in 10.1.1. It still does not hurt to use that feature and see if those fields become visible.

I am a little unclear if you already have republished/rebuilt. If not, try republishing the FM package from the upgraded model and then open Transformer and see if your fields are back. New fields will not automatically show up in Transformer, but fields you already had in the model should certainly be there.

Until you rebuild the cube, you will still see the "old" fields via Report Studio because that's what was there last time you built it.

Hi - Transformer will not allows folders, shortcuts to import the source into it. Better you can remove the items from the folder and you can place under the layer. I think now you use those items as source.

I just encountered this problem as well after upgrading from Cognos v10.2.1 to v10.2.2 FP2. No data items in the query subject folders for a relational package source. They were definitely there in all previous versions of Transformer I've used. I can't find anything in the Knowledge base that discusses this issue. Does anyone know of a solution aside from getting rid of the folders in the FM model and published packages.
