Is there any other way to write to the body of the e-mail than Event Studio?

Is there any other Cognos tool than Event Studio that allows us writing into the body of the e-mail directly? Event Studio seems to have a lot of bugs and cannot make it work as needed.

I need to create a text e-mail with daily data in the body of an e-mail that our top execs can glance through on their phones. There are 70 data items that I am pre-calculating in Framework Manager that I need to include in the e-mail (2 tables really but Event Studio does not do list or pivot tables). 

After adding about 20 data items to the e-mail it starts complaining about the event condition when that is not changed at all. I also ran into the e-mail body duplication that I cannot get rid of. That seems to be some odd bug.

Any ideas are welcome.
