Cognos upgrade 10.2.2

Hi,

My client going to upgrade cognos 10.2.1 to 10.2.2.

What are all things needs to be tested after upgrade. Please give me any check lists.

We are going to test in IE11 browser with windows os.

The short answer is: everything.

You didn't give very much detail about what things you have in your environment which makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive list. Off the top of my head I'd suggest:
report content, layout, performance
workspaces
event studio events
cube builds
data sources
security

Find below environment:

1. DB : Oracle
2. OS: Windows server 2012

I don't think either of those factors affect what I responded originally. You'd just need to ensure that everything is compatible with the version of Cognos you are upgrading to. You can google Cognos Supported Environments to find that information.

I gave you a checklist of things you need to test in my earlier post. What is unclear to you? You need to be familiar with what artifacts (reports, events, workspaces, cube builds, etc.) that are currently running under 10.2.1 and be sure they behave the same under 10.2.2.

Have you looked at the Cognos Upgrade Central site? https://www-01.ibm.com/software/analytics/cognos/customercenter/upgrade.html

If you follow the link "Upgrading to IBM Cognos Business Intelligence" you will find a wealth of detail on things you need for a successful upgrade. There. I didn't *need* to give you an answer, but as a fellow Cognos user I'm doing my best to help you. I hope that satisfies the demand you made above.
