Pankaj,

Every post you have added to the Cognoise forum since you joined has been in the "Announcements" forum. This area is reserved for our hosts (Avnet / BSP) to make announcements in, and I have had to manually move your posts to the forum they should originally have been posted in. I have asked you previously to post new messages in the correct forum based on the topic - mostly the Report Studio forum within Cognos 10 in your case. You seem to be ignoring my request - can you explain why?

I have also noticed that you are creating a calendar entry that points to every new post you enter. Why are you doing this? Please refrain from doing so. I am having to manually delete each one you create.

If you don't understand how to add new posts in the correct forum, please ask and we would be happy to give you instructions.

yes plz give me instructions

1. Open a web browser session

2. Navigate in your web browser to the home page of Cognoise - http://www.cognoise.com/community

3. If not already signed in, enter your user name and password in the login fields in the top left corner of the page and press "Login"

4. Select the section relating to the product you are using - in your case, click on Cognos 10 BI

5. Select the child board of the particular component you want to ask a question about - in your case click on Report Studio

6. To start a new topic (ie to ask a new question) press the "New Topic" button in the top right corner.

7. Enter a subject for your question, enter the text of your question, then press "Post" in the bottom right corner.

You don't need to touch the Calendar at all and you shouldn't select the "Announcements" forum.

Cheers!

What is not working? What does "it is not working actually" mean? Do you get an error? Do you get unexpected results? Do you get nothing? Something different?

Please read the Forum Etiquette post, paying particular attention to paragraph 1.
