Bar chart how to show same color for each categories

Hi All ,

I have a requirement ,where i have to see show same color for each of the categories in bar chart.

I have 5 query items(table columns) as category
Series is one date field(view_date)

Please refer to attach screenshot.

I want same colors each of the bar..example...as in screenshot..for category 'START' i need to show 3 bars with color yellow
for category 'WITHDRAWN' i need to show 3 bars with color blue..and so on..

Please suggest!!

Swap the query item in Chart series. Put Category in series & View_date in X-axis

Thanks for replying.

I tried same but  wont fit my requirement in terms of visibility.

I tried un-pivoting the table..ie. created one query item which will have all the categories.
Then use that single query item in category and in series date field.

Then it is working.

If without unpivoting any other way is there..please let me  know.Thanks!

If you want Chart series in one color & Category ('START','WITHDRAWN') in different color then use Conditional Palette in Bar.

Click on bar, in properties ->  Conditional Palette ->New Condition (Choose the Category) ->then put your condition & change the Palette entry Color.
