value prompt still runs after removed

This might seem to be a very strange question...  I've been experimenting with a value prompt and it's placement in a report (Report Studio).   But I've undone and deleted every instance of it including the filter it was based on.   And still when I run the report, the prompt still shows up as the first thing.   But in the design view, it's not there.     Not sure what I missed..

Take a look at the suggestions in there and see if you missed a reference to the parameter somewhere...

got it - it took some digging for sure.   Somehow the filter was still being referenced.  I manually deleted every reference to I could find, and then did "Remove All Filters" just to be sure.
