Folks,
I just installed the IBM Cognos BI product on my workstation. Everything went well and all components are installed without
any issues including the Applications (Oracle Weblogic) and the Content Store.

Now, I'm trying to identify the URL to verify the existence of components.
When I run for example
http://localhost/ibmcognos
I'm getting a page not found.

Any thoughts?
Thx so much for your time. :D

Did you set up virtual directories in IIS/Tomcat  and did you configure it using Cognos Configuration? If not, I would suggest to read the installation guide. It has all the steps.

I used the the wizard and using the Build Application created the Oracle Web Logic environment for handling the Web Server and the Dispatcher.
thx

Ah, ok - so you're using Weblogic as an application server and a servlet gateway? What is the URL for your dispatcher? You should simply be able to use this to get access to Cognos 10.

Just copy it from your Cognos Configuration into your browser - does it work?

yes, that works for the http://locahost:xxxx/p2pd/servlet/dispatch
but there is no entries and the images are not showing for the menu
selections.
