hi all,

i have scheduled few reports which are successfully getting executed and when i check the logs on past activities the status is succeeded and emails have been sent to the recipients, but when i chek my inbox i am not receiving any email.

i did a check on the notification in the cognos configuration and that tested successfully.

Request you to guide me how can i check where the emails are getting stuck...is there any queue where i can check ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards

It sounds like as far as the Cognos sever is concerned, the emails have been generated and handed off to the email server you configured it to use. After that, the Cognos server knows nothing of the success or failure to deliver, as delivery happens on the email server. Take a look at your email server to see if anything is getting logged...

Good luck!

Hi all,

the issue has been resolved, it had nothing to do with the cognos configuration. there was some issue with the mail server due to which the mails had been stuck in queue.

Hi All ,

If My Administrator change the mail server,
It would have been changed In the new environment, new IP address,
and he still use the same SMTP domain name.

What something ,what do I need to about it? /or not?
