Dynamic Sorting is not working after upgradation (8.2 to 10.2)

Hello Everyone,
we have upgarded from 8.2 to 10.2 recently.we have been using a java script for dyanamic sorting and it was working absolutely fine.
but in 10.2 it stopped working and i am not able to have it working in version 10.2, the same way as it was working before in version 8.2.
I observerd.
This script works fine without prompts but with prompts it does not want to work.
I need help to have this script working with the prompts in 10.2 also.

Things have changed a lot since 8.2 especially with regards to javascript.

That is way too much code for me to spot a problem, but try this approach from IBM Proven Practices.
