Function in cognos to check whether my data is numeric

Hi all,
   I have column that has numbers,special charactes and texts. But I need to display only those values that are numeric and add a  text to them.

Take a look at the etiquette post and then reply back with the necessary details. IF your package is relational then there may be database functions you can use, but you didn't provide enough information to get a reliable answer.
