Hi,

I have a transformer cube based report which has a cosstab like this:

Measure_Value |    Type_Member1, Type_Member2 , set(member3,member4)

[Region_Level]            45                 ,       50 ,                 80 ,              1000

The result that i get is member:1,2,3,4 as column names.
What i want is 1,2 and grouped3-4 (3 columns). Any ideas how to do that?

Hi

Try using Total(CurrentMeasure within Set Set(member3,member4)) as the expression for your third column.

if ^ does not work you can also try this:

member(Total(CurrentMeasure within Set Set(member3,member4));"Member 3-4";"Member 3-4";[hierarchy].[of].[Type Members])

or create a data item:

[Member 3] + [Member 4]

dax solution worked like a charm!
Cheers.

Khayman: My prefered solution would be [Member 3]+[Member 4] but if any member does not have any fact values it shows whole calculated member as blank. Wonder why it hapens?

#4
null + number = null

having said that maybe you can...

[if([member3] is null) then (0) else ([member3])] + [if([member4] is null) then (0) else ([member4])]
