Is it possible to hide the Display value on the report prompt? For example, in the attachment, I want the "Emp_First_Name" to be just blank. I do want to display the display value data item being used.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you!

Hi Intrepid,

select the prompt and go to the properties pane (left bottom corner), the last options will manage the text. there you can manipulate the text for the selecting all values for instance. also, one of the first options (not sure which one right now) will set this label based on the controlling parameter.
just select field for this text in the property pane, select individuell text instead of automatic text and then just do not put in any text at all. as result, your "emp_first_name" will vanish (or replaced by the text you inserted).

Hi Mike!
Thanks for the reply. I was able to achieve what I want with making the "Header Text" to blank.
But when I do this, I lose the option of deselecting an option once I select it. Do you have any insight into this?

OK. Just solved it.

I selected "Specified Text" and added spaces. This way I able to not have the display value as well as option to deselect.

Thanks Mike!
