Promotion from Dev to Prod

Hi Team,

We have two set of reports which dont have any prompts.
In dev, reports are running in secs where as in Prod env. reports are running morethan 8 hours to give output.
Please let me knwo wha will be the reason.

I would start with the database. Are different indexes in place for your dev database vs your prod database? Do you have drastically different data volumes on your dev environment compared to production?

Generate the SQL and ask the DBA to assist with understanding any differences in query execution between the two environments.
