IBM Audit Cleanup tool.

Hi ,

Has anyone used this tool  IBMAuditDBCleanUP

I downloaded the zip file from the above path and placed the extract under cognos installation \bin\utilities\

I configured the db settings in the auditdbconfiguration file and ran the IBM_AuditDBCleanup.Jar file

I say cleanup by specifying a from day, nothing happens..

Has anyone faced this issue.

Hi All,

I was able to make this tool working in my production environment which has JRE 6.0 , but when I tried in my dev region which has JRE 7 it dint work and dint give me any errors.

Troubleshooting tips from above doc says make sure you execute the tool in JRE 6 runtime.

So will it work only for JRE 6 version or am I missing something.
I copied the extracted contents and placed in cognos install/bin/utitlities and changed the configuration properties and ran the exe. WHen click on clean up button nothing happens with jre 7, but with jre 6 it says these records were deleted on so and so time.

So you already have this critical piece of information. You're trying it in JRE7 and asking why it isn't working?
