How to display distinct values in list report

HI everyone,

I have a list report having account id as one of the column.
I need distinct account ids values(not count distinct ids) in  report level, i know that it can be done in package, but if i do it wil effect oteher reports depending on account id.
pls let me know how to do at report level.
