Cognos 10.2 Dynamic Cube Installation Issue - Architecture issue

Need another help.
So I am at a customer location which already has Cognos 8.4.1 installed on AIX Box with some power cubes running. We are now doing a test installation of cognos 10.2 and will be running some of the same cubes to do a proof-of-concept.
In this test installation, we are installing FM and Transformer but also need to install Dynamic Cubes as well.
So in my AIX Server_1 , I have –
-   Application Tier ( I have left reporting service as 32 bit so as to cater to the reports running in 8.4.1)
-   Gateway
-   Content Manager
In another Windows Server_2, I will install –
-   FM
For FM to communicate with App Tier on Server_1, I have configured the Cognos Configuration on Server_2.
Now I am thinking of installing Dynamic Cubes on Server_2 but I am confused. Dynamic Cubes require FM to be installed and they also support only 64 bit report service. So how do I fit the Dynamic Cubes in the architecture?
I can create another Application Tier on Server_2 and I can enable 64 bit Reporting service but then how does the FM communicate with both the Application Tiers?
Do I need to install another FM instance ?
So my modified Server_2 will be –
-   FM 1 ( To communicate with App Tier on Server_1)
-   Application Tier (Will communicate with Server_1)
-   FM 2 (To Communicate with App Tier on Server_2)
-   Dynamic Cube (Will be installed with FM2)
Can you please provide your point of view ?

You don't need 2 instances of FM. You have 2 instances of dispatchers, one with 32 bit RS and one with 64 bit RS. You point the FM configuration to the 64 bit RS instance, which means the DC modelling tool points to the 64 bit box which is where it will create the cube when you publish the DC.

You then use dispatcher groups and routing rules to:
a) route CQM reports to the 32 bit RS dispatcher
b) route DC REPORTS to the 64 bit RS dispatcher, and
c) load balance DQM reports to either, provided you leave the Query Service running on both.

Hope this makes sense and helps.

Thank you so much for your response :)
Does this mean that I can use the same FM to create packages for CQM reports ? And also can use these packages to create Transformer Pcubes ? (Sorry if I did not mention it before) And create server groups for dispatchers and specify advance routing rules to point these packages to the specific server groups (Dispatchers) ? I did come acrosss an IBM page talking about "Setting Routing Keywords" for packages and using these keywords to assign these packages to different servergroups/dispatchers.... Your input here would be helpful :)

You use the FM to create CQM and DQM models and packages. You can use those packages and/or reports from those packages in Transformer to make normal Cognos cubes.

Similarly you use the Dynamic Cubes Modelling tool to create the DC models, packages and data sources.

Routing rules are discussed generally in http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/data/library/cognos/infrastructure/cognos_specific/page510.html but also in the Administration and Security Guide, and in the IBM Cognos Dynamic Cubes redbook.

Thank you so much ! This gives me much better clarity on what I have to do :)

Have you looked at the Installation and Configuration Guide? See also the Administration and Security Guide.
