CSVIdentityName

I have a parameter map that maps roles to a valid model expression and I want to user CSVIdentityName macro function to retrive a list of these expressions to substitute into a filter.  However, this function automatically encloses each value in the returned list in single quotes.  I don't want the single quotes there but I can't figure out how to get rid of them.  It's easy to add single quotes but can anyone suggest how I can get the values with quotes removed?  Thanks.
