Cognos Consumer Insight buzz sources ([Possible OT])

Hi,
I apologize if this is not the correct thread but I don't find "consumer insight" (this product http://www-142.ibm.com/software/products/us/en/cognos-consumer-insight/)

I am not a Cognos user, but I need an info in order to pre-evaluate buzz & sentiment analysis capabilities, info that i can't find in whitepapers about Cognos Consumer Insight.

I would like to know how does IBM Cognos Consumer Insight gather info (they call them snippets in white paper) on relevant buzz regarding a brand or product?
Beside FB, Twitter and the obviuos ones is there a centralized crawling service that scans blogs/forums or do I have to manually configure each forum/blog that I would like to monitor?
